Zalatoris Is Back. Will Zalatoris will make his competitive return at the Nedbank Golf Challenge on December 4, ending a seven-month absence following back surgery for re-herniated discs. After multiple setbacks since 2022 and a second operation in 2025, Zalatoris says he’s finally pain-free and focused on a full comeback.

Big Cash. LIV Golf CEO Scott O’Neil claims the league secured nearly $500 million in new sponsorships this season, signalling strong commercial growth. Despite ongoing losses, O’Neil says rising global partners and expanding markets prove the model is working, reinforcing LIV’s long-term vision and competitiveness against the PGA Tour.

FedEx Standings. Garrick Higgo headlines the FedExCup Fall “risers,” climbing from 99th to 57th with three top-10s, positioning himself for 2026 Signature Events. Steven Fisk, Michael Thorbjornsen and Rico Hoey also surged. Among “fallers,” Joel Dahmen slipped outside the top-100, while Stephen Jaeger and Tom Kim failed to gain ground at the halfway mark.

We Should Learn From Rory. Rory McIlroy was in India for the first time at the DP World India Championship, where he surprisingly did not hit his driver, it was completely out of his bag. Citing Delhi GC’s tight, punishing layout, McIlroy said the “risk isn’t worth the reward” and prioritised accuracy over distance, saving the driver for Abu Dhabi.

Tigers Fall. Tiger Woods has slipped outside the top 2,000 in the Official World Golf Ranking following ongoing injury issues, including back and Achilles surgery, raising the possibility that he could lose his ranking altogether by the 2026 Masters.
