Another Exit. LIV Golf is searching for a new chief marketing officer after Adam Harter stepped down following two seasons. Harter, who joined in 2024 from PepsiCo, led global marketing, brand growth, fan engagement, and key sponsorships with HSBC, Salesforce, and others. He expressed gratitude and teased upcoming career opportunities.

No More Kapalua. The PGA Tour announced that The Sentry will not be played at Kapalua’s Plantation Course in January 2026 due to severe drought and water conservation in Maui. Agronomy and logistical challenges forced the move, with over 140,000 residents impacted. A replacement venue is yet to be confirmed.

John Daly Movie. Jonah Hill is set to star as John Daly in an upcoming biopic that will chronicle the two-time major champion’s life, controversies, and golf career. The film, directed by Anthony Maras, will be produced by Hill through Strong Baby Productions. No official title or script has yet been confirmed.

Heating Up. Rory McIlroy dismissed Bryson DeChambeau’s plan to “chirp in [his] ear” at Bethpage, calling it a ploy for attention. In an interview, McIlroy criticized DeChambeau for constantly name-dropping others. He also warned of the noisy, high-pressure Ryder Cup atmosphere in New York and emphasized Europe’s improved preparation and continuity heading into the match.
