Wowza what a start to the Major season. This was one of the best Masters I have watched in years. With 4 holes to be there were 4 to 5 guys that could have taken it. Congrats to Rory for completing the Grand Slam! Other than that this week wasn’t too exciting.

Olympics News. The 2028 Olympics will debut a mixed-team golf event alongside individual men's and women's competitions. Though the exact format is pending, a 36-hole team setup with alternate shot and fourball rounds is proposed. Teams will feature top male and female golfers, showcasing gender equality and adding excitement to Olympic golf.
Incorrect Relief Taken. Jose Luis Ballester, reigning U.S. Amateur champion, apologized to Augusta National after urinating in Rae’s Creek during the Masters’ first round. He admitted forgetting about nearby restrooms and took the break discreetly during a delay. Ballester received both media attention and support from friends, later saying, “I’d do it again.”
Grand Slam Check ✅ Rory McIlroy claimed a dramatic play-off win over Justin Rose to secure his first Masters title and complete the career Grand Slam. Despite a double-bogey start and late-round struggles, McIlroy prevailed with a birdie on the first play-off hole, becoming the sixth golfer to achieve the feat.
