It is Masters Week! Is anyone else taking leave? đđ The first Major of the year is always exciting especially because it is the Masters. Former winner Ăngel Cabrera will be playing in his first Masters since being released from prison, he also just picked up a win this past week on the Champions Tour, but I still donât think he has a chance, the course so far too long now.

April Fooled. Letâs be honest, Tiger Woods got us with this one. âI canât believe I am saying this, but a few weeks after rupturing my left Achilles, the sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber plus the explosive lifts my doctors and trainers have me ready to play the Masters next week! Canât wait, See yaâll on the course.â He will be missed this year.
Masters Thief. Richard Globensky, a former Augusta National employee, was sentenced to one year in prison for stealing millions in Masters memorabilia over more than a decade. Items included green jackets and trophies. He must repay $3 million. His cooperation led to item recoveries and exposed a broader theft operation. Full Story Here
Bad Timing. Max Homa and longtime caddie Joe Greiner have split after years of success. Amid a slump and multiple changesâcoach, apparel, and equipmentâHoma has veteran caddie Bill Harke on the bag at the Valero Texas Open. Greiner, a childhood friend, departs after helping Homa to six PGA Tour wins since 2019.
Worth A Shout. Korn Ferry Tour Pro Ryan McCormick taped his mouth shut during a round to manage on-course anger. After trying books and advice with no success, he hoped silence might help. Though the results were mixed, it simplified communication and forced deeper breathing. McCormick missed the cut.
