Sad to see Tiger out again. It seems like his body is just giving up on him. Other than that it was a pretty quiet week in the golfing world.

Short News Snippets From Around The World

Tiger Out…. Again. Tiger Woods ruptured his left Achilles tendon while training and underwent successful surgery. The 15-time major winner, 49, is now recovering at home. He will miss the Masters and has no set return date. Woods has faced multiple injuries, including severe leg damage from a 2021 car accident.
Perez Palace. Pat Perez's 9,712-square-foot Arizona mansion is on the market for nearly $13 million. The lavish home features a pool, multi-sport court, theatre, and a massive sneaker collection. Recently renovated, the mansion is for sale following Perez’s 2023 divorce. The Air Jordans, however, are not included in the deal.
Breakup. Matt Fitzpatrick and veteran caddie Billy Foster have parted ways after six years. The decision follows Fitzpatrick’s struggles in 2025, including a missed cut at The Players Championship. Foster, who helped Fitzpatrick win the 2022 U.S. Open, hinted at retirement and potential broadcasting roles. Fitzpatrick’s new caddie remains uncertain.
Making Cash. Joaquin Niemann cruised to victory at LIV Golf Singapore, shooting a final-round 65 to win by five shots over Brooks Koepka. He earned $4 million, bringing his LIV Golf earnings close to $45 million. Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs team won the team title. Dustin Johnson bounced back this week, finishing tied for fifth.
