There were a few fake rumours about Byrson this week, Jake Knapp shot an incredible 59, and Dave Whitnell made 2 hole-in-ones in the same round!

Short News Snippets From Around The World

Fake News. Rumours suggesting Bryson DeChambeau's return to the PGA Tour after a rejected $280 million LIV Golf extension have been debunked. Insiders confirm his contract with LIV Golf runs through 2026, making a PGA Tour return unlikely before 2027.

New Partners. Harry Kane has become a limited partner in Tiger Woods’ TGL team, Jupiter Links GC. The Bayern Munich striker joins other investors like Justin Timberlake and Mike Trout. Kane, an avid golfer, previously played with Woods and in celebrity pro-ams. Jupiter Links’ TGL season has been mixed, with notable wins and losses.

Tiger Update. Tiger Woods will not play in the Arnold Palmer Invitational but will compete in two exclusive events this week. He’ll tee off Monday at the Seminole Pro-Member with Seth Waugh and play Tuesday’s TGL match for Jupiter Links. Woods is still grieving his mother’s passing and has delayed his PGA Tour return.

Ex Gangster. Ryan Peake, a former junior golf talent who served five years in prison for assault, has completed an incredible redemption arc by winning the New Zealand Open. The 31-year-old Australian went bogey-free for the final 54 holes, securing a full Asian Tour card and a spot in The Open Championship.

59 Watch. Jake Knapp shot a course-record 59 at the Cognizant Classic after making two key equipment changes—a new TaylorMade Qi35 driver and a Scotty Cameron putter. The switch improved his driving and putting, leading to 12 birdies in the first round. Knapp now eyes his second PGA Tour title.
