The Price Doesn’t Matter. Despite initial concerns over high prices, tickets for the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York have sold out. The event is scheduled for September 26-28, 2025. Practice round tickets were priced at $255.27, while match day tickets ranged up to $749.51. Luke Donald will captain Team Europe, and Keegan Bradley will lead Team USA.

Would This Work? Adrian Meronk suggests the PGA Tour could go its own way while other tours collaborate to create a global golf circuit, excluding the U.S. He criticizes the lack of cooperation, fines, and World Rankings system, expressing optimism about the flourishing Asian Tour and potential worldwide unification of non-PGA events.

The Claret Jug. John Daly’s Claret Jug from his 1995 Open Championship victory is up for auction, with bids reaching $152,463. The sterling silver trophy, a 50% scale replica, includes a signed authenticity letter. Previously owned by Daly’s buyer in 2015, it’s a rare chance to own a piece of golf history.

For Chi Chi. Rafael Campos claimed his first PGA TOUR victory at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, becoming the first Puerto Rican winner since Chi Chi Rodriguez. Days after becoming a father, Campos shot a 3-under 68, secured a three-shot win, earned a Masters invitation, and a two-year exemption, marking an emotional career milestone.

Queen Nelly. Nelly Korda secured her seventh LPGA Tour title of 2024 at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, becoming the first American since Beth Daniel in 1990 to achieve seven wins in a single season.
