Pretty uneventful week this week on the news front. There were no real big stories to talk about.
Matt McCarty and Johnathan Broomhead both picked up their maiden victories on tour, and Matt Bradbury became a two-time winner on the DP World Tour.

Young Gun. South African golfer Aldrich Potgieter, 20, secured his PGA TOUR card by finishing 29th on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List. Potgieter made history as the youngest Korn Ferry Tour winner earlier this year and overcame inconsistency in accuracy to clinch a spot on the 2025 PGA TOUR.
Proper Talent. Ruoning Yin won her fourth LPGA title at the Buick LPGA Shanghai with an 8-under 64 final round. Her six birdies in the last eight holes secured a six-shot victory, finishing at 25-under. Japan's Mao Saigo and South Korea's Sei Young Kim tied for second place, while Hye-Jin Choi shot a tournament-low 62.
Ryder Cup Crack Down. Unruly fans will be ejected from the 2024 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black, New York, warned US captain Keegan Bradley. Both Bradley and Europe’s captain, Luke Donald, emphasized the importance of respectful behaviour while ensuring high energy and support. LIV golfers Sergio Garcia, Jon Rahm, and Tyrrell Hatton remain hopeful of qualifying.
