We woke up to some tragic news on Saturday, the PGA Tour came out with a statement that Grayson Murray had lost his life. My condolences go out to his friends and family.

There has been a few updates on the Scottie Scheffler arrest, and it looks like the court case is set to go ahead. The arresting officer has also been suspended, so it is all happening out there.

RIP Grayson. Grayson Murray, a two-time PGA Tour winner, died by suicide at age 30, his parents confirmed. Murray, who openly battled depression, anxiety, and alcoholism, passed away after withdrawing from the Charles Schwab Challenge. His parents expressed their grief and gratitude for the support from the golfing community. Terrible news for the golfing community. Rest in Peace Grayson.

The Run is Over. For the first time since 1999, Sergio Garcia may miss the US Open. Despite a strong start in the Final Qualifying at Dallas Athletic Club, a double bogey and a playoff bogey ended his streak. Garcia, who could still compete as an alternate, narrowly missed securing his spot at Pinehurst.

Update on Scottie. World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler faces up to 10 years in prison and a £7,848 fine if convicted of second-degree assault of a police officer. Scheffler, arrested before the PGA Championship, also faces charges of criminal mischief and reckless driving. Officials will let the legal process "play out.". Det. Bryan Gillis, the officer who arrested Scottie Scheffler, has been suspended and reprimanded multiple times. An internal investigation revealed Gillis failed to follow protocols and turn on his body camera during Scheffler's arrest. Previous incidents include doing "donuts" with a drunk passenger in 2013 and multiple suspensions for court attendance policy violations. This is just wild!

X + PGA Tour. Elon Musk's X, formerly Twitter, is partnering with the PGA Tour to deliver real-time golf highlights and videos on the platform, CEO Linda Yaccarino announced. This move is part of X's strategy to expand into sports and video content as traditional TV viewership declines.

Debut Win. Richard Bland won the Senior PGA Championship on his senior major debut, finishing three strokes ahead of Richard Green. He dedicated the win to his brother Heath, who is battling cancer. Bland's final round 63 secured his victory. He expressed immense joy and plans to celebrate extensively, calling the win "very special."

Harry’s Back: Harry Higgs won the Visit Knoxville Open, defeating Frankie Capan III in a second-round playoff. Despite leading late, Higgs finished regulation at -19, forcing a playoff where both birdied the first hole. Higgs secured victory with a dramatic 30+ yard shot on the second playoff hole, clinching the title.
