What a week, The Masters just does things to people that no other event does. I think it is a combination of the course and the exclusivity of it, but also the access you get not being at the event. The Masters have absolutely killed it when it comes to coverage, almost starting the Sunday before, it is just none stop action, and let’s not forget to mention their app, from live coverage, highlights, interviews, individual player shot tracking, and custom featured groups it is perfection. The regular Tour needs to get on this.

Just to end off before we dive in, I think we have officially left the Tiger era, and entered into the Scottie era. Let me know what you think.

Grab that coffee, and let’s get back to our normal lives. 🏌️‍♀️⛳☕

NEWS
Short News Snippets From Around The World

Rahm Speaks Out. Rahm advocates for LIV Golf's shift to 72-hole format for unification within the sport, aiming to align with other global tours. The league's 54-hole setup faced challenges, leading to its withdrawal from Official World Golf Ranking points eligibility. Rahm's move to LIV could influence golf's future unity amid ongoing discussions between tours. I do feel he has a point here.

Denied. Greg Norman reportedly denied Masters ticket, he ended up purchasing a weekly pass after proper channels failed. Seen supporting LIV Golf players, Norman's appearance at Augusta marked his first visit since becoming CEO of LIV. Despite past setbacks at the Masters, he enjoys positive fan interactions. Norman's son confirms the situation, emphasizing support for LIV Golf amid a positive reception.

Forever Goat. Tiger Woods secures record 24th consecutive Masters cut, overcoming challenges of age and injury. Completing a long Friday, Woods finishes 1-over-par 145, inside the 6-over cut line. Despite past setbacks and health issues, Woods maintains his remarkable streak, setting a new milestone at Augusta National. The wheels did come off after that, he shot an 82 in the third round, which was his worst ever at the tournament. Tiger eventually finished on 16 over par.

Mad Scientist Bryson. Bryson DeChambeau notably swaps his Ping i230 irons for Avoda prototype irons at Augusta National. Avoda Golf, a direct-to-consumer brand founded by Tom Bailey, offers single and variable-length irons. DeChambeau's custom-designed 3D-printed irons, approved by the USGA, feature bulge and roll for improved mishits, enhancing his comfort over the ball. Bulge and roll is only seen in drivers and fairway woods, so it will be interesting to see how this develops.

Take It Off. In the second round, Jason Day attracted social media buzz with his Malbon Golf vest. Augusta National requested he remove it, emphasizing tournament respect. Day complied without explanation. Despite making the cut, he won't wear it again at Augusta. This shows the respect the players have for The Master’s traditions.
