I thought we would have a conclusion on the PIF/LIV/PGA ordeal, however it seems like we are still waiting in the wings for them to make a decision on the whole merger situation, although Jay Monahan confirms there were constructive talks taken place last week. Unfortunately, I don’t think it is going to be a straightforward thing.
The Masters is officially 17 days away, if that doesn’t fire you up, nothing will. This year’s Majors are going to be a cracker.
Let’s go. 🏌️♀️⛳☕

Callaway's statement aims to quash market speculation.
Ryder Cup at a Castle. The Golf Course at Adare Manor, set to host the 2027 Ryder Cup, offers a unique Irish golfing experience. Redesigned by Tom Fazio, the County Limerick course combines opulent surroundings with Irish hospitality. With meticulous reconstruction using 220,000 tonnes of sand, it boasts only 41 bunkers and a SubAir Aeration System.
Tiger Down Magnolia. Tiger Woods is provisionally listed in the 2024 Masters lineup. Woods, 48, appears on Augusta National Golf Club's roster, yet his participation remains uncertain due to limited recent play. Despite health setbacks, Woods' inclusion offers hope for his return to competitive golf. 🐐🐐
Guys Only Want One Thing. Happy Gilmore star Christopher McDonald claims Adam Sandler is crafting a sequel to the beloved comedy. McDonald, who portrayed Shooter McGavin, shared that Sandler presented him with a first draft of Happy Gilmore 2 during a recent encounter. While details are scarce, we are all eager for the sequel's potential return.
Rahm Getting Fomo. Jon Rahm admits he is getting FOMO on some of the high profile PGA Tour Events, and wishes you could defend some of this title that he won last year. I say Boo Hoo, go wipe your tears with the $500 Million you got paid by LIV to jump ship. What did he expect?
STATS
Birdies Are Not The Key⛳🏌️♀️
Food For Thought
Scratch players average 1.8 more birdies per round compared to an 18 handicap.
Scratch players are 18 shots better, but they only average 1.8 more birdies per round.
The secret to lower scores is NOT more birdies.
