Numbers Rising. The PGA Tour’s Rocket Classic delivered its best ratings since 2020, drawing 2.79 million viewers on CBS and peaking at over 5 million during the dramatic five-hole playoff won by Aldrich Potgieter. Meanwhile, LIV Golf Dallas, aired on FS2, averaged just 75,000 viewers in the final round—highlighting a sharp contrast in audience engagement.

Glover Speaks Out. Lucas Glover, a longtime PGA Tour loyalist, voiced strong opposition to former LIV players rejoining the Tour. On SiriusXM, he said they “made their decision” and shouldn’t be allowed back to compete or claim resources from current players. Glover emphasized loyalty and the integrity of the Tour.

Rightly So. NXXT Golf has updated its eligibility rules to require all competitors to be biological females at birth. This move aims to preserve fairness and uphold the integrity of women’s professional golf. The decision follows consultations across the sports community and reinforces NXXT’s commitment to equitable competition.
