There is nothing like Major Championship golf! Man, did this course put up a fight! I am not sure about you, but I enjoy watching the pros struggle 😂😂. Congrats to Scottie Scheffler, he showed us why he is the world number 1!

We continue with Major golf with the Senior PGA Championship this week. It should be another great watch.

Luis Carrera must have set a record this week on the Sunshine Tour. After winning Q-School and gaining his card, he has now won back-to-back titles to win the first two events of the season. Unreal effort by the rookie, he could be one to watch in the near future.

NEWS
Short News Snippets From Around The World

No Doubt. Scottie Scheffler claimed his third major title with an 11-under total at Quail Hollow, winning by five shots. Despite a rough front nine, he steadied on the back to hold off Jon Rahm. Scheffler now has 15 PGA Tour wins and becomes the 48th player with three majors.

No Golf Talk For Trump. During a visit to Saudi Arabia, President Trump denied discussing golf, Trump Tower projects, or business during meetings with Gulf leaders. Critics raise ethical concerns over his family's Gulf investments and potential influence. Trump also downplayed knowledge of a $2B crypto deal and Qatar's proposed $400M gift. Let’s hope something between PGA and LIV happens soon.

Heckler. During the PGA Championship, Brooks Koepka challenged a heckling fan who mocked his LIV Golf deal, asking him to repeat it face-to-face. The incident went viral on social media. Koepka, who has struggled recently in majors, missed the cut at Quail Hollow and looks ahead to upcoming LIV and major events.

Player Captain. Keegan Bradley secured a T8 finish at the PGA Championship, boosting his chances of making the U.S. Ryder Cup team. Despite speculation, Bradley downplayed the idea of being a playing captain, focusing solely on qualifying as a player. He emphasised performance over title, saying he'd consider both roles only if necessary.

Major History. Si Woo Kim made a historic 252-yard hole-in-one at the PGA Championship—the longest ace in major history. The shot helped him shoot a 64 and jump into contention, just two shots off the lead. It was Kim’s second career major ace, reigniting his bid for a first major title. He ended up finishing T8.
